2) What the app does

MyDocScan2 scans, enhances, organizes, and exports documents. Storage and processing occur on your device unless you choose to share a file.

3) What we collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store personal data on our servers. Documents, images, project titles, and the app PIN remain on your device.

4) On-device processing & third-party components

The app may use Google Play services (ML Kit) for the scanner UI; processing occurs on-device. We do not receive your content. Google’s terms and privacy policy apply to Google Play services.

When you share or open files in other apps, those apps handle your data under their own policies.

5) Permissions and purpose

• Camera: capture documents.
• Photos/Media/Files: import images and save pages/PDFs.
• Network (optional): used only when you choose to share/open files or when system components update.

6) Security

Files are stored in the app’s private directory (Android sandbox). The app can be PIN-locked. We do not provide cloud backups or remote recovery.

7) Data retention & deletion

Content stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes the app’s private data.

8) Children’s privacy

Not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.

9) Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The Effective date will be updated and, where appropriate, we may notify you in-app.
